Our Studio

Made by Hand,
in Jerusalem

Since 2014, Pottery Jerusalem has been a working studio in the ancient Yoel Moshe Salomon pedestrian lane — one of Jerusalem's oldest artistic neighbourhoods. Founded by ceramicist Esther Kahn, the studio is a place where visitors of all skill levels discover that the simple act of shaping clay can be deeply meditative and endlessly surprising.

Every workshop is led by a practising artist. Every piece is fired in our gas kiln. Every student leaves having made something genuinely theirs.

Meet the Potters
"The wheel does not care about your to-do list. For one hour, there is only the clay, the water and the rotation."
— Esther Kahn, Founder
